Risk literacy

Risk is a decision field.

Risk is not automatically bad. Risk is not automatically brave. Gambile helps people enter risk with more awareness.

Questions before action.

Goal

What am I trying to achieve, and what would count as success?

Downside

What can go wrong, what do I lose if I am wrong, and can I survive it?

Upside

What can go right, and what do I miss if I do nothing?

Plan

What evidence would change my mind, and what is my plan before emotion takes over?

Odds are stories.

Probabilities need language. A number is useful only when the human can understand what it means, what assumptions it carries, and where it might be wrong.

Scenario play can reveal hidden assumptions faster than static reports. The point is not to trivialize risk. The point is to make risk visible enough to discuss.
